Four Curious Items
Dan Dreiling, the drywall guy, did not know what to make of the four curious items he removed from the four-slice toaster-sized hole in the kitchen wall of the old Victorian house on the corner of Sixth and Oak in the quaint town of Shady Valley. Fortunately a curious individual, who called himself The Pedestrian, was willing to take on the mystery.
Over the course of his inquiry, The Pedestrian encounters a number of curious people, including Alicia Hyfield, curator of the Classic Tunes Music Emporium; Edgar Millbottom, assistant manager of Waldo’s TexMex Taco World; Annabella Kella, an enigmatic associate of The Pedestrian; Winston Smythe Kennsington III, billionaire CEO of Omni, Inc.; Ransom Rufflemeyer, the Shady Valley Chief of Police with a chip on his shoulder; Festerwald Direnelly, a pastor suffering a crisis of faith; and Kricket Ogilvy, a contract assassin hired to… well… kill someone.
Will The Pedestrian uncover the mystery of the four curious items found in the Victorian house and the corner of Sixth and Oak? Will Kricket Ogilvy get over her raccoon phobia? Will Alicia Hyfield join Edgar Millbottoms band? And who is Annabella Kella?
